All On Four Dental ImplantsAn Overview
All-on-4® dental implants have made it possible for patients missing a full arch, or a full set of teeth to enjoy the long term benefits of dental implants. All On Four is an innovate procedure that works through strategic planning and placement of only a few dental implants to secure a permanent denture. For many patients, the All-on-4 treatment concept eliminates the need for bone grafting since the implants are placed at precise angles in the jawbone. A patient can have any necessary teeth extracted, implants placed, and a temporary dental restoration attached all in one surgery. This saves patients time, money, and months of healing time. This unique missing and damaged teeth replacement treatment can bring back full function without the need for daily maintenance and dietary restriction that often accompany traditional dentures.

All On Four Dental Implants What to Expect
All-On-4 takes precise and careful treatment planning. Dr. Weinstock will work with patients on an individual basis to build a personalized treatment plan that maximizes the use of any healthy bone structure for optimal results. By combining modern dental technology and precise pre-treatment planning, Dr. Weinstock can give patients a fully functioning set of teeth even for those who were once unable to receive dental implants.
The All-on-4 procedure works through surgically placing four tiny titanium posts into the jaw each at a specific angle. The method optimizes existing bone structure for long term results. In most cases, two implants are placed towards the location of the front teeth and two are placed towards the back teeth on each side. This will ensure that the denture is evenly secured.
Once the posts heal and integrate with the jaw bone, in about 3-6 months, Dr. Weinstock will custom fabricate a permanent denture.
Dr. Weinstock is highly experienced and trained in facial aesthetics and can create a denture that looks natural and brings balance to your face. Our Philadelphia dentist office utilizes the latest and most modern dental technology and materials for durable and beautiful results.
Dental Implants Vs. Dentures
Patients who are experiencing difficulty with an ill fitted denture could benefit from the All On Four procedure. Dr. Weinstock can secure an existing denture with strategic implant placement. Dental implants provide stability and assurance that your denture will not slip while speaking or eating. Dental implant secured dentures offer many added benefits compared to dentures. Dental implants can stabilize the jaw bone and helps to prevent jaw line recession. Dental implant secured dentures do not require special maintenance, they can be cleaned and maintained just as you would your natural teeth.
