I have worked in the dental profession for over twenty years. The majority of that time has been working as an assistant to Dr. Weinstock. Working here has been a wonderful experience for me. I have met some very nice people, who have come in as patients and have left as friends.
I have a post graduate certificate in dental laboratory technology and radiology from the Harcum Junior College.
I am a Philadelphia native and now reside in Delaware County. I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my grandchildren. I like to relax with a fine mystery novel and crossword puzzles, and I genuinely enjoy cooking and refinishing furniture.
I believe that our patients expect and deserve a clean and pleasant office visit. I take great pride in working here, and I am proud when I hear a patient say, “This is a beautiful office.”
I have been with Dr. Weinstock for 13 years. I began working as a Dental Assistant for two years while earning my associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene at Community College of Philadelphia. During this period I met many patients, which made my transition a lot easier.
I have been a Hygienist for 11 years. I want to enrich people’s lives by helping them enhance their smiles, by educating them on proper home care techniques, and working in an office where our patients feel comfortable.
My free time is spent taking care of my wonderful family, my husband Chalie, and my two beautiful children Julian and Natalia. I enjoy reading, music and movies.
I graduated in 1975 from Pensacola College, Pensacola, Florida, with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene, and began my career as a dental hygienist that same year in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, while my husband was completing his law school education at the University of Pittsburgh. We then returned to his (and my newly adopted) home town of Philadelphia, where I continued to work for another 15 years as a dental hygienist at a few select suburban practices, gaining valuable experience consistent with the growth and development of the technology in the industry.
In 1995, I decided to “hang up my gloves” and move to the administrative side of private practice, primarily with two offices, where I have served as front desk manager, office manager and benefits coordinator, but never too far from chair side in the event a hygienist was ever needed on very short notice. As a result, I consider myself to be in a unique position to assist all patients with the entire litany of issues that are associated with their dental experience, including coordination of treatment procedures and protocol, insurance and financial plans, and assurance of quality and comfort of each visit.
In 2008, I was fortunate to be asked to join Dr. Weinstock’s practice. I cannot underestimate the value, both to me, personally, and to all of our patients, of the soothing and comforting work environment that Dr. Weinstock has created, the state of the art technology that he continues to employ, and his commitment to continuing education and concern for patient care and uncompromising results. After 35 years in dentistry, I can honestly say that Dr. Weinstock is the primary reason for the continued extension of my career.
